Local Authorities recommend the removal of all existing timber fasciaboards, replace first with 6×1 kiln dried, pressure treated timber to British Standard 5589. The purpose of which is to take the weight of the heavy tiles.
(Local Authorities do not want the weight of the tiles on the PVCu fascias as it was not manufactured for it.)
