A & S also replace cladding. Firstly remove all the existing cladding from the property. (We never put PVCu of any type over the top of the existing timber as it will rot and cause even more problems). All the batons are checked and if any are rotten, we replace with new baton. There is also a water resistant membrane which needs to be checked and or replaced if it is damaged.
New shiplap cladding can now be installed. This must be solid shiplap, BEWARE, there is some hollow cladding on the market but this must only be used internally.
The shiplap comes in a number of different colours and can make a massive difference to the look of your property.
